Treehouse antifa collage by Justin Trouble.
I N T R O
Take note of the following alarming posts which we will explain in turn.
They did acknowledge that some officers had bodycams, as we’ll see, but those whose cameras would have shown what actually happened, we are to believe, did not have bodycams. [UPDATE, Feb, 9, 2023:At least 4 of the officers were recording with their bodycams, but the shooting can not be seen in any of these videos and the audio has been removed from portions. As far as I know, this would mean that the audio was intentionally removed which seems suspicious. We will go over the important parts of these videos below.
The bodycam footage shows that these agencies were very poorly coordinated. Let me be blunt. They acted like bungling fools. Were death not involved, these videos would be comedic displays of incompetence like those old Keystone Cop comedies of the silent era only it isn’t funny because a state trooper was seriously wounded due to their sloppy and unprofessional conduct. Also, someone was killed and it may have been the fault of these officers, though it may have been unintentional.
They never seem to know who is friend or foe, they get into each other’s line of fire and so on. People that incompetent shouldn’t be in charge of flipping burgers let alone be given a badge. I mean, I support their right to bear arms but I wouldn’t encourage them to have any and I certainly wouldn’t hand them any power.]
Another death in another antifa ‘autonomous zone’, this one in the Weelaunee Forest at what some call Weelaunee People’s Park at Atlanta, Georgia where the city government plans to build a public safety training center that some protesters and antifa calls‘Cop City‘.
This would make it/they the 12th killed antifa that I am aware of.1 If this person is not a domestic terrorist but rather an environmental activist then this would make it/they the 1st to be killed by police in the USA, reportedly. But the evidence, as we’ll see, suggests he was antifa.
As I have said before about the killings of previous antifas and others, I am not happy it/they is/are dead because life is precious. It would be better if it/they was/were still alive and healthy. But instead, it may be, it/they was/were antifa and/or chose to shoot at a fellow human, nearly killing him, and was killed in return fire or it may be that this, the official narrative and not a proven fact - at least not yet, is false. It may be that law enforcement shot first, for example. At any rate, may that injured man, the State Patrol Trooper, recover fully.
The deceased has been identified as Manuel Esteban Paez Teran, 26, or ‘Manny’ as he’s been called, who reportedly went by ‘Tortuguita’ (meaning ‘Little Turtle’) or just ‘Tort'2 or 'Cami'.3
Manuel Esteban Paez Teran or ‘Cami’ or ‘Tortuguita’ or ‘Tort’. See here.
Apparently, this person used it/they pronouns. According to some comrades, this person’s name is Cami Teran. Note that a cami is a sort of pretty lingerie top that is sometimes worn in public and that the name Cami is a name one gives to newborn girls, a name related to Camilla.
“It”/”they” is/are reportedly from Tallahassee, Florida. It does seem that “it” or ”they” may have been driven to homicide and/or suicide by cop by living out a paranoid fantasy. You see, it seems “it” was scared or “they” were frightened of the government and of being killed by police for not being white. Apparently it/they identified as a “brown person”.
Predictably, this resulted in riots in downtown Atlanta and more as we’ll see ahead. Also, they have been calling for retaliation on officers on Twitter. We’ll see examples ahead.

Apparently the first public announcement of the identity of the deceased…
It would include 90 acres of green space, a military veteran training center, a 12-acre emergency vehicle course, a physical training field with a track, a mock city for real-world training, burn towers, a shooting range, 40 horse stalls, a 40-acre horse pasture, k9 kennels, and more, according to mockups by the Atlanta Police Foundation.
As we’ll see, there’s been talk of also including a film set. Apparently,
it faced robust opposition from a coalition of Atlanta community activists, environmentalists and urbanists, who wanted to preserve the old Prison Farm site as a public greenspace and objected to using public land for the facility in a predominantly Black section of southeast Atlanta rather than in wealthier, whiter sections of the city, such as Buckhead.
They had derisively termed the project, "Cop City."
Source: CNN, captioned, “Hyosub Shin/Atlanta Journal-Constitution via ZUMA Press Wire - An aerial photograph of the planned site for the Atlanta Public Safety Training Center at the old Atlanta prison farm in DeKalb County, as seen on September 27, 2022.”
it would have shooting ranges, classroom, and an auditorium for police, fire, and rescue teams to use for real-world training.
One can see actual aerial footage of the site and a computer model of the proposed facility here. Also see the video below.
CNN claims (without citation)4 that the project would
carve out a chunk of forested land Atlanta leaders previously seemed to agree to preserve, though the city says officials are committed to replacing trees destroyed in construction.
Catch that forked tongued trick? CNN reports that they “seemed” to agree. To whom did it seem that way? Anything can seem like anything to somebody somewhere. Used in this context, that is a weasel word. At any rate, 11 Alive reported that the plan
involved a ground lease agreement between the city and the Atlanta Police Foundation, which says it will build on 85 acres of the site and preserve the remaining 180 acres as greenspace
and that it
would clear-cut a portion of the forest that has grown since the city abandoned an old prison farm on the site in the 1980s.
for more than a year in Atlanta and in DeKalb County, where law enforcement said environmental activists camping out in the forest have fought against the training facility's construction by committing crimes.
They use the term ‘activists’ here but that term does not apply to those who riot or engage in terrorism (the threat or use of bodily violence with the intent to make others meet your demands). More specifically, they would be domestic terrorists under Georgia state law under GA Code § 16-11-220 (2021).
They'll claim it's to our benefit. While that may be true to a degree, improved police training does NOT require deforesting this irreplaceable green jewel…Of course we want our police effectively trained to preserve public safety…
…Of course we want our police effectively trained to preserve public safety, but this does NOT justify steamrolling us.
My point here is that not all who opposed the project were of the domestic terrorist sort. As we’ll see, just regular residents opposed the project. It was antifa who ruined things.
TERROR TACTICTS & VANDALISM
For example, there’s the SRY Campaign, self-described as an campaign to “urge”
subcontractors to stop participating in the construction of Cop City and/or divest from their dealings with Brasfield and Gorrie
who they say
is the general contractor firm behind Cop City.
Furthermore,
Everyone involved in this project is complicit in some way with the destruction of the forest, the militarization of the police, and the development of a racist and violent project. The fact is that they have economic incentives to move forward with this project. We must create disincentives.
Other companies are afraid to oppose the public protest. Brasfield & Gorrie are among the last holdouts. Now, they are escalating into violent repression. The SRY campaign denounces this violent extremism from B&G and the APF.
Brasfield and Gorrie, how many more deaths are you willing to sponsor?
Is money worth more to you than lives?
You are responsible for the murder of an Atlanta Forest Defender.
Keep in mind that one of the companies they list on their SRY Campaign page is Atlas Technical Consultants who they say
should break all professional ties with Brasfield and Gorrie as long as Brasfield and Gorrie is involved in the construction of the Cop City development.
before providing information on their headquarters and national offices as well as the names, faces, addresses and contact info for their executives and other top level personnel as well as for their company Long Engineering. Think about why they would provide the info for these people. Returning to Atlanta News First’s timeline,
In April 2021, then-Atlanta mayor Keisha Lance Bottoms announced a plan to turn the forested land into a public safety training facility that would include a shooting range, a mock village and a burn center.
Opposition quickly arose from environmental groups, neighborhood associations and racial justice groups.
Indeed, on April 1, 2021 Scenes From the Atlanta Forest, an information & propaganda outlet for protests and more ‘direct action’ against deforestation in the area (at least according to them), began to post about the project with the intent to spread the word so that action may be taken against it.
On May 7, 2021, List Of Funders Of Cop City was published by Scenes From the Atlanta Forest. It is obvious what they hope people will do with that info.
we incinerated all three excavators, rendering them immobile and unusable.
Azar’s post contained this image. Further down they write,
We know that there’s only one way to carve livable space out of a world that cares more about shitty action films and carceral primacy than having breathable air and drinkable water. The only way is resistance.
We renew our undying commitment:
Any further attempts at destroying the Atlanta Forest will be met with similar response. This forest was here long before us, and it will be here long after.
We’ll see to that.

On June 16, 2021, reportedly, ‘protesters’ showed up at an Atlanta City Council member Joyce Shepherd’s home. The councilwoman apparently had
introduced an ordinance earlier in June to lease land to the Atlanta Police Foundation, a nonprofit that plans to build "a state-of-the-art Public Safety Training Campus for all public safety agencies."
the councilwoman to hold a hastily scheduled press conference. She was planning to speak outside the Atlanta police Zone 3 precinct, but her remarks were moved indoors after several protesters showed up to bang pans and chant “no cop city” outside the precinct. Sheperd doubled down on her support for the new training academy and threatened to press charges against future protesters on her property.
“People have a right to come out and say whether they’re for or against it,” she said. “But what they don’t have a right to do is come up on my private property, knock on my doors, protest on my lawn, on my porch. They don’t have that right. So I’m saying tonight that I’m still supporting the academy. I’m not scared.”
On June 26, 2021, Scenes From the Atlanta Forest published Atlanta Police Foundation damaged by protestorswith this report from CBS 46 about members of Defend Atlanta Forest damaging the Atlanta Police Foundation building.
a group of community members concerned with the destruction of the Atlanta forest paid a visit to places
that the CEO of Blackhill Studios might be at including,
his home in Social Circle, his second home in Tuxedo Park, the UPS he frequents in Edgewood, and the town nearest his social circle home.
Why? They say his company is
responsible for bulldozing 24 acres of the forest in intrenchment creek park, and that now wants to expand this destruction to another 200 acres to create the largest sound stage in the english speaking world.
I should add here that there’s been plans for a film studio there as well. They add,
Fliers were distributed to all of his neighbors mailboxes as well as plastered on his front gate and the streets that he frequents. The fliers let the community know the harm he is responsible for and nicely provided the address to his 100 acre farm so that grievances could be addressed there.
They include images such as these…
Clearly, these tactics are not about educating the public about anything because the idea is to place such fliers where the target can see them and where people with whom he might have face-toface interations with can see them. If terrorism is the use of fear of violence to convince people to meet demands (it is), is it terorism to attemprt to terrorize a person in such a way? The message is, “We’re hostile. We know where you live and we know your whereabouts. We’re serious and dedicated. You know what we want. Do it or else.”
There is also currently a week of action happening in the Atlanta area, with everything from militant marches, to concerts, to educational events being organized. On Friday, June 25th, over 50 people took to the streets against the project, marching on the Atlanta Police Foundation’s building, breaking out the glass on the front windows, before dispersing.
Responding to the call from comrades in Atlanta for an 8/18 day of action in solidarity with the struggle to defend the Atlanta forest; vandals broke into the office complex housing Corporation Service Company’s (CSC) regional office in Roseville, a suburb of Minneapolis. After smashing the office door and throwing cans of paint inside, a message was left sprayed across the front: HANDS OFF THE ATLANTA FOREST.
I was able to find much of this info thanks to AntifaWatch. As you might suppose, AntifaWatch watches antifa and according to them the extended “protest” of the building of the training center in Atlanta has…
become a rallying point for some Anarchists/Antifa across the country who have claimed to carry out vandalism in solidarity
Alas, if I were to go on at this pace at this depth, this will never end. So we must skip over tons of terrorism and vandalism. The SOURCES section at the end of this report (before the footnotes) will provide info on the terrorism and destruction that went on in the gaps between what I cover here. Meanwhile, the vandalism, threats and terrorism continued.
RAMPING UP
May 12, 2022, multiple people were arrested for vandalizing the offices of a contractor firm, apparently due to the firm’s role in construction of the training facility, and faced riot charges, according to the Marietta Daily Journal who writes…
The contingent allegedly spray-painted “no forest no peace,” “trees not cops” and, “stop cop city” on the building’s walls.
Source: Marietta Daily Journal, captioned: “Police are investigating vandalism at the Brasfield & Gorrie building on Circle 75 Parkway in Cobb County.”
Also,
police initially said at least two people were arrested during the vandalism, but arrest warrants for at least five individuals were located by the MDJ.

eight militants were arrested after police patrolling the land were assaulted. Responding police were pelted with rocks and Molotov cocktails. Nearly all of the arrestees were from out of state, with at least one, Abigail Skapyak, having been arrested at a BLM riot in Minnesota in 2021. In August, another six were arrested for crimes ranging from burglary to criminal damage. Left-wing groups used Twitter to fundraise bail for all the suspects.

Atlanta Police have accompanied contractors Long Engineering, Brasfield & Gorrie and other contracted workers to the woods to attempt to stay on schedule with a forest destruction timeline which sets clearing the forest to begin by the end of June.
They also report that tree clearing had begun, they claim without the proper permits. They go on to give the locations for the tree sits and write,
If land disturbance work continues under these platforms, it risks serious injury or death to those occupying the trees.
As the APF struggles to keep up with their schedule for deforestation and construction, protesters continue to delay work, sometimes preventing any apparent progress for entire work days. Since January, small groups of concerned local residents have stopped construction several times by approaching machines and workers and asking them to stop and leave the forest.
Further down still,
Tomorrow, June 7th at 11am, residents have organized a rally to show support to tree sitters, and voice opposition to the construction.
In September, firefighters responded to flames on Key Road near Bouldercrest Road. The DeKalb Fire Department confirmed the flames torched some excavating and construction equipment.
In late November 2022, the treehouse antifas attempted murder by immolation. In a televised report by local news 11 Alive posted to Youtube on November 30, 2022, they said a man stopped at the site to pick up some discarded junk he saw from the road to take in his pickup truck. He said in their interview at the sight of a burnt out truck that he had no idea about the encampment. But these rich kids apparently saw the working class man from their treehouses and, he said, they
started coming out of the woods in camouflage stuff
they started chasing me around the park, busted my windows out and throwing gas bombs or whatever they were at me.
They reportedly chased him to his truck, damaged it and set it aflame - while he was in his truck - which he then left behind as he fled on foot. Isn’t that attempted murder?
Still, some would maintain (or, well, lie) that they are peaceful protesters.
Protestors said SWAT teams swarmed the woods earlier in the day, shutting down roads for hours. Demonstrators claim police tore down encampments.
Catch that? They called these domestic terrorists ‘demonstrators’. CNN also mischaracterized them as ‘activists’ in the same report in which they wrote that GBI said that police,
The location has previously been the site of a series of incidents, including carjacking, destruction of property, arson, and attacks against public safety officials, according to the bureau.
DeKalb Police Department responded to reports of a dumpster fire on Key Road around 10:32 a.m. on Saturday, assisting Atlanta Police Department. The department said that when they arrived at the scene, DeKalb Fire said they were having issues putting out the fire because protesters were throwing objects at them. So for the safety of the firefighters, police units from both departments assisted in evacuating the area. No injuries were reported, but the fire and police units remain on the scene, and Key Road remains closed.
Authorities are urging the public to avoid the area and to follow instructions from law enforcement.
A fire burned down two homes in a subdivision still under development in DeKalb County last Saturday night. Authorities said it happened along Bouldercrest Road, not far from a controversial training center planned for first responders that critics call "cop city."
The blaze broke out just hours after another fire about a mile up the street. How the fire ignited, authorities said, remains mystery.
The fire erupted at Eastside Parc. One resident, David Ray, told FOX 5 he wasn't around when he found out his property was going up in flames.
"I received a phone call from a neighbor," said Ray, development manager for Eastside Parc development and associates. "There was a fire in my neighborhood."
Ray said two of the four future homes burned to their foundations.
David Ray from Eastside Parc Development and Associates said he doesn't know if the fire was set intentionally. (FOX 5 Atlanta)
"We’re trying to build a new community and enhance DeKalb County and unincorporated Atlanta in that area," he said. "The houses are completely gone."
The homes were unoccupied. No one was injured. DeKalb County Fire is investigating whether someone may have set the blaze on purpose.
"There were some suspicions. But nobody knows," Ray said.
The flames ignited about a mile down the street from Key Road. A dumpster fire broke there earlier the same day. That fire was near a planned training center for first-responders critics call "cop city." It is unclear if the fire at the subdivision is connected to the controversy around the training center. But DeKalb fire confirms it is investigating all possibilities.
On December 13, 2022, the Georgia Bureau of Investigation stated that they, the Atlanta Police Department and other local and state task force members arrested five people and who have been charged with domestic terrorism and other charges
in an operation to remove barricades blocking some of the entrances to the training center.
after
several people threw rocks at police cars and attacked EMT's outside the neighboring fire stations with rocks and bottles.
Furthermore,
Task force members used various tactics to arrest individuals who were occupying makeshift treehouses.
The following people have been arrested and taken to the DeKalb County Jail:

Ngo would later tweet more about one of these arrested who, as we’ll see, would be arrested again in a riot on January 21.…
On December 17, 2022, according to Atlanta Community Press Collective,
On December 17, 175 people gathered in Brownwood Park in East Atlanta to declare their support for the six activists recently charged with domestic terrorism, and to demonstrate their continued opposition to “Cop City,”
…and…
Those gathered shared their experiences in the movement, and denounced the erroneous charges brought against the 6 young people as politically motivated attacks on freedom of speech. One participant summed it up clearly: “They are trying to separate the tree sitters from all of us. They represent the movement to them so they are charging them with terrorism. But we are all forest defenders. We are all in the movement. And we won’t be scared away from this. We won’t stop until the APF stops Cop City.”
the GBI said in addition to assaults, arson and property destruction, there was a carjacking. The Atlanta Police Foundation estimates hundreds of thousands of dollars in damage have been inflicted on construction equipment in an ongoing effort to sabotage development.
Tonight we’re also hearing from homeowners who say that protesters aren’t just targeting the training center sight, they’re also targeting their neighborhood.
They go on to report about damage done to personal property, property set on fire and vandalism waged upon the neighborhood by antifa. One person interviewed said that she just wants to feel safe in her home. They go on to report that the sense of safety of others in the area is gone. WSB TV News reported that the local people they spoke with did not want to show their faces on camera for fear of retaliation. In other words, they are being terrorized by these street terrorists. According to the report, many people living in the area don’t want the training center to be built but they also don’t agree with the actions of these “protesters”. Local police chief Schierbaum would say in a press conference…
"It doesn't take a rocket scientist or an attorney to tell you that breaking windows or setting fires is not protesting, that is terrorism"
The domestic terrorism charges in Atlanta is not the first time Antifa-linked suspects were formally charged this way. Samantha Frances Brooks and Ellen Brennan Reiche were both convicted by federal prosecutors in Washington state for a terrorist attack on train tracks in 2021. The claim of responsibility for the attack was published on Antifa propaganda site, It’s Going Down, which has an active Twitter account.
It’s Going Down is an Antifa terrorist-linked group that has a Twitter account
They also report that
Those occupying the land at the Atlanta autonomous zone have also maintained an active Twitter presence using the account, “@defendATLforest.” Even after Elon Musk’s takeover, Twitter remains an important function of the far-left ecosystem used to organize violent direct actions, identify targets of violence and to fundraise for arrested comrades. The day after their members were arrested, "Defend the Atlanta Forest" held a protest at the Dekalb County Jail where they lit off large explosive fireworks. Additionally, the Atlanta Jail Support, a project of the Atlanta Solidarity Fund, immediately issued calls to fundraise bail money for the terror suspects using Twitter.
The domestic terrorist suspects have their group on Twitter, in addition to other accounts that fundraise for them
The five domestic terror suspects have mostly had their online presence scrubbed, though a Twitter account remains active for Leonard Voiselle. Under his account, "@digitconflict," Voiselle follows Antifa accounts from Portland, Ore., the Atlanta chapter of Antifa, Antifa propaganda site Unicorn Riot, Antifa activist Daryle Lamont Jenkins, among other far-left extremists.

The shocking arrests have mostly been ignored by national media, though Gov. Brian Kemp, a Republican, issued a brief statement on Twitter: "We will not rest when it comes to bringing domestic terrorists to justice, and these arrests should serve as a strong reminder of that."
hefty charges carrying the potential for lengthy prison sentences — activists reacted with a mix of disgust, defiance and a vow to carry on.
They also report,
In a statement provided to The Atlanta Journal-Constitution, Gov. Brian Kemp vowed that agencies including the GBI, the Atlanta Police Department and the FBI would “continue to work closely together as we disrupt the entire criminal network and ensure construction for the first responder training facility moves forward.”
“We will not stop or slow down when it comes to bringing domestic terrorists to justice in Georgia, and yesterday’s arrests should serve as a strong reminder of that to anyone threatening our communities,” Kemp said.
Additionally,
The potential penalties vary depending on the specific allegations. But, if convicted, sentences for domestic terrorism could range from five to 35 years.
Further down,
Authorities said they found “explosive devices” during Tuesday’s efforts to clear the forest.
Take careful note of this…
“The reason that the Georgia Bureau of Investigation and the FBI are investigating this is because this isn’t protest. This is terrorism.”
The FATAL GUN BATTLE & ARRESTS on January 18, 2023
The near-deadly shooting of a state trooper by and fatal shooting of Manuel “Tortuguita”/“Cami” Teran came on January 18, 2023. Additionally, 7 have been arrested and charged with domestic terrorism.
The Daily Mail reported thatthese people belong to a local antifa cell. They are from various other states. However, FOX 5 Atlanta’s Timeline would suggest they have spent much time living locally and in each other’s physical presence. They are rich kids as are those who rioted in reaction to the killing and who were arrested according to multiple sources. Again, I will save most for that other report.
At 9:03:57am the officer with AXON BODY 3 X6039B6YV says, "They shooting at us." An officer beside him says, "Nah, that sounded like suppressed gunfire." The first replies, "Yeah."
The officer with AXON BODY 3 X6039B6YV says, "You fucked your own officer up" with a hint of sadness in his voice.
At about 9:04:10, someone asks who is with the injured officer. Someone answers that the GSP (Georgia State Police) squad is with him (AXON BODY 3 X60333201).
At about 9:08:27am someone says, "Get that officer out first. Don't want to cause another incident" (AXON BODY 3 X6039A7V9).
More times than we can specify, they shout to each other to get out of the way, to watch out, to tell someone to get out of the way, to not shoot each other, to not shoot those guys over there because they're officers and so on. It's a bungling, confused cacophony of incompetence with loud noise from radio chatter, megaphone announcements, ATVs apparently being revved for no reason for far too close for far too long than can possibly be any excuse for, construction vehicles beeping and so on. You would think they would want to minimize the noise while all this was going on, but it seemed more like they were making as much noise as possible.
At 9:20:22am, one can see a K9 (dog) among the men who are suffering from the burn of the less lethal. This would mean that the dog must be suffering far more (AXON BODY 3 X6039B6YV).
At about 9:20:52am, an officer asks something like, "Did they shoot their own man?" An officer says, "They don't know what he got shot by..." (AXON BODY 3 X6039B6YV).]
Well after there allegedly was no longer an active shooter, the Georgia Department of Public Safety tweeted this…
At about 9:00 a.m. today, as law enforcement was moving through the property, officers located a man inside a tent in the woods. Officers gave verbal commands to the man who did not comply and shot a Georgia State Patrol Trooper. Other law enforcement officers returned fire, hitting the man. Law enforcement evacuated the Trooper to a safe area. The man died on scene. The injured Georgia State Patrol Trooper was taken to a local hospital where he underwent surgery. A handgun and shell casings were located at the scene. The GBI is working the officer involved shooting and the investigation is still active and ongoing. The identification of the man who died is pending next of kin notification.
During the planned operation, several people were arrested and taken to the DeKalb County Jail.

In the video, Director Mike Register of the GBI states beginning at 0:46…
Over the last several months, law enforcement and portions of our community have experienced growing criminal behavior and terroristic acts committed by individuals and groups concerning the building of Atlanta’s new Public Safety Training Center.
These individuals and groups have attempted to disguise their activities as being protests against the building of this facility. The GBI and all law enforcement agencies and our partners here embrace a citizen’s right to protest. But law enforcement can’t stand by while serious criminal acts are being committed that jeopardize the safety of the citizens we’re sworn to protect.
Acts such as arson, physical attacks on members of our community, focused intimidation of citizens, the use of explosives and setting booby traps that have the potential of causing great bodily harm or could possibly maim are not acts of peaceful protest. They are criminal acts that destabilize communities and endanger citizens.
As you are aware, a few weeks ago, several individuals were arrested for domestic terrorism in the area around the future sight of the Public Safety Training facility. This morning, the GBI with other local state law enforcement agencies such as DeKalb PD, Atlanta PD, the Georgia State Patrol and Georgia DNR conducted a planned clearing operation to remove individuals who were illegally occupying the area.
During these operations, if law enforcement makes contact with an individual, they are asked to leave the property. If individuals are compliant and no other criminal violations are present, they are released. It’s what happened on 2 occasions today.
At approximately 9 O’Clock this morning as law enforcement was moving through various sectors of the property, an individual without warning, shot a Georgia State Patrol Trooper. Other law enforcement personnel returned fire in self-defense and evacuated the trooper to a safe area. The individual who fired upon law enforcement and shot the trooper was killed in the exchange of gunfire.
Colonel Chris Wright of the Georgia State Patrol stated at the same press conference that the trooper who was shot was out of surgery and in the ICU and that…
his vitals are good and he’s in stable condition but he certainly has a road to recovery and he’s still not out of the woods yet
I could joke that he is out of the woods, which is how he is at the hospital, but that would be stupid of me. So I won’t mention it. At all. So please forget that I did. The Director also stated that these people engaged in…
arson, attacking citizens, shooting police officers, using explosives, beating people up then burning their car down
When asked how many people they were dealing with, how organized they are and if they have a name, he answered…
I’ll leave it at this; you have individuals and you have organized groups out there. You have both.
That’s the way it works. There are local groups or cells that use the term ‘antifa’ in their name, like Rose City Antifa in Portland. But often they don’t use ‘Antifa’ in their name. As I have always said, Antifa is a term used to refer to individuals and groups (who may or may not use Antifa iconography) who profess to be anti-fascist but who actually engage in (street) terrorism. Often one sees specific local antifa groups marching with other groups such as BLM or the Democratic Socialists of America and often these overlap as individuals often belong to multiple groups.
A forest defender, who was present during the raid and spoke with Unicorn Riot under conditions of anonymity, reported hearing 10-12 gunshots all at once followed by a loud boom.
We are releasing a photo of the handgun that was in Manuel Esteban Paez Teran’s possession when a Georgia State Patrol trooper was shot on January 18 at the site of the future Atlanta Public Safety Training Center. The handgun is described as a Smith & Wesson M&P Shield 9mm. Forensic ballistic analysis has confirmed that the projectile recovered from the trooper’s wound matches Teran’s handgun. Other preliminary information released in this case is consistent with the investigation so far.
See the image of the gun above. Ngo would later report this information about the arrested…
TPM can report that several of the suspects come from well-to-do backgrounds.
See my upcoming report for more on their rich upringing. They also report that
Liberto and Wasilewski appear to be in a relationship based on their social media photos and posts. Both have a long history of radical leftist politics. Wasilewski’s Twitter account also shows thatshe follows Antifa groups and the "@defendatlantaforest" account, which is the main social media group representing the autonomous zone. She also frequently liked posts from the far-left violent extremist Pittsburgh group, Filler Distro. Filler Distro is one of several groups calling for violent retribution against law enforcement over the death of their comrade.
You can see here that the Twitter account seemingly belonging to Wasilewski does follow Filler Distro PGH, (@PghAutonomy) whose tweets below demonstrate that this is not just a protestor. Back to Ngo’s report…
Domestic terror suspects Sarah Wasilewski and Spencer Bernard Liberto. Instagram
Filler Distro tweeted a call for "retaliation" against police with further instructions from extremist account "Scenes from the Atlanta Forest." The now-suspended account, which posts blogs from writers at the autonomous zone, wrote: "Consider this a call for reciprocal violence to be done to the police and their allies. On Friday, January 20th, wherever you are, you are invited to participate in a night of rage in order to honor the memory of our fallen comrade." The post was shared hundreds of times before the account was suspended.
A spokesperson for the GBI told TPM: "We are aware of these threats you mention and are monitoring them, along with our local, state, and federal partners."
CALLS for VIOLENT REVENGE & RIOT on January 18, 2023
FOX 5 Atlanta reported on January 18 that the organization Stop Cop City ATL said told them via email that,
"it is not clear" if the Georgia State Patrol trooper was injured by "police fire, a protestor, or a police induced action."
"Police have repeatedly raided the protest encampments in Weelaunee Forest, harassed and detained neighbors walking through the park, and attacked protestors with tear gas and rubber bullets," the statement said, in part. "During past raids, police have consistently escalated violent tactics on protestors (sic) who were sitting in trees or standing in a public park. On multiple occasions, they have cut tree limbs and rope out from under tree sitters in a fashion likely to cause serious injury or death. Today’s raid began with numerous armed police shutting down a public road and pointing guns into the park."
Meantime, homeowners around the controversial property said they knew something like this would happen.
"We've been saying this for a while, it's going to take something drastic for them to actually do something to clear out the woods. I hate it to happen. I hate the officer was injured," homeowner Marc Bolden told FOX 5's Aungelique Proctor.
Cop City protesters hold candlelight vigil after deadly shooting
More than 150 people gathered to mourn the man’s death during a candlelight vigil Wednesday evening in Atlanta’s Little Five Points neighborhood, an area known as a hub for counterculture movements.
Activists said they did not have much information about the morning’s incident and did not know the identity of the person who was killed. But they called for an investigation into the shooting, urging the public and the media to reject the police "narrative" that officers were shooting in self-defense.
The group then took to the streets, blocking a busy intersection and throwing scooters in front of cars as others held a large banner reading, "Trees give life. Police take it."
"Stop Cop City!" the group yelled, followed by, "If you build it, we will burn it!"
Groups providing legal support to the protestors say that they were unarmed and not violent, arguing that the police have been engaging in a campaign to attack the movement…
Early that afternoon, this was tweeted (if it is removed, here’s an archive)…
The link Ngo included originally went to a tweet by Filler Distro (@PghAutonomy) - who advertises how antifa they are - that has been removed by Twitter for violation of their rules but it is archived here. If you click that archive link you will see the following which Ngo has included a screenshot of in his tweet above; an example of a retweet of the call for violence we saw above…
Context was not given for the photos in the tweet above. They must have been taken before January 18 given that they were tweeted in the early afternoon before any rioting had occurred.
The DSA still uses a symbol that seems to have intentionally been taken from Orwell’s 1984. It’s just so very close to the symbol for ‘the party’ of ‘Big Brother’, Ingsoc or English Socialism.
The image on the left is the official DSA symbol. The image on the right is an artist’s rendition of the (fictional) symbol for Ingsoc as described by Orwel in 1984
But seriously, folks, there’s often a big overlap between local DSA and antifa cells. Meanwhile…
In the evening, community members mourned and held space for Terán at Findley Plaza in Little Five Points, Atlanta. The vigil turned into a march, as at least 100 people chose to hold space for the forest defender in the streets.
They included a photo showing they waved an antifa flag and a photo of a sticker that reads “BLUE LIVES don’t MATTER”.
Did you notice the antifa flag?
This image is taken from the photo above. I cropped the photo and englarged the flag.
Atlanta police said they are aware of calls to violence from people sympathetic to a protester killed by police at the site of a planned police training facility and are on ‘high alert.’
…and…
Shortly after the shooting, flyers calling for a “night of rage” and violent retaliation on Friday night began to circulate. The flyers did not specify a location for the proposed violence.
On Thursday night, police issued a statement, saying:
“Our officers are on high alert, and we will continue our work to keep our streets safe for our residents, businesses, and visitors alike…”
They also report that…
Agents found mortar-style fireworks, multiple edged weapons, pellet rifles, gas masks and a blow torch at the campsites.
Note that the above claims that the deceased was murdered for defending the forest and makes no mention of the seriously wounded state trooper. Note that those below also frame the deceased as an innocent victim.
Note how the above reads
BRING YOUR RAGE
and
FIGHT LIKE HELL
Also note the image of the cinder block among the candles.
This refers to the view that even those who practice peaceful protests should respect the diveristy of tactics, as they like to say. In other words, don’t criticize those who riot and engage in bodily violence.
In the second image you can see for a call to gather at the Bank of America headquarters in Charlotte, North Carolina to,
to remember those slain by ATL PD and to remind Bank of America of the blood they spill by funding Cop City
Notice how almost all of these dishonestly frame the gun battle as a one-way shooting resulting in the murder of an innocent defender of the forest. About an hour later, Ngo tweeted this…
You may have noticed people with bright green baseball caps at antifa riots. These are “legal observers” from the National Lawyers Guild. 2 minutes after Ngo’s tweet above, the NLG tweeted the following…
Apparently he is not aware that they get plenty of funding to make bail so they can go back out on the street to repeat. Meanwhile, Ngo calls to our attention that Fox News reported on these threats of “reciprocal violence”.
older brother, Daniel Esteban Paez, found himself in the middle of this unfortunate historical moment Thursday. “They killed my sibling,” he said on answering the phone. “I’m in a whole new world now.”
Paez, 31, was the only family member to speak extensively with GBI officials, after calling them Thursday in an attempt to get answers about what had happened. No one representing Georgia law enforcement had reached out to Belkis
(Belkis Paez is the mother of these brothers)
by Thursday afternoon. “I quickly found out, they’re not investigating the death of Manuel – they’re investigating Manuel,” Paez said.
A navy veteran, Paez said the GBI official asked him such questions as “Does Manuel often carry weapons?” and “Has Manuel done protesting in the past?”
The family is Venezuelan in origin, but now lives in the US and Panama, Paez said. Less than 24 hours into discovering the death of his sibling, Paez also said he “had no idea Manuel was so well-regarded and loved by so many”. He was referring to events and messages ranging from an Atlanta candlelight vigil Wednesday night to messages of solidarity being sent on social media from across the US and world.
Belkis Terán, meanwhile, is trying to get an emergency appointment at the US Embassy in Panama to renew her tourist visa, which expired in November. “I’m going to clear Manuel’s name. They killed him … like they tear down trees in the forest – a forest Manuel loved with passion.”
It reads, “National Lawyers Guild Legal Observer”. It seems the NLG’s function is to use whatever power and credibility they may have as “legal observers” to absolve rioters of as much legal trouble as possible by claiming to have observed that the accused did not do what they may be accused of doing. We will return to the NLG and similar groups in the section LAWFARE & MORE below.
At about shortly after 32:23, a loud voice yells, “Fuck the Capitol! Go North!”, for, you see, there is a bit of a disagreement on whether to go to or fro.
At 34:23, they chant “Every city, every town, burn the precinct to the ground!”

The demonstration started peacefully, then abruptly escalated with some protesters throwing fireworks and rocks and smashing buildings' windows with hammers, according to a Reuters witness.
As police moved on the marchers, the violence quickly fizzled without anyone injured.

I must note here that the arrest info says he is a “BLACK MALE”. Was this a mistake? Is this a case of mistaken identity? Or do the authorities there have to describe a person as that person claims to identfy as? Here’s reporting about this rich kid…
Remember when people like Tommy Robinson, Lauren Southern, Enrique Tarrio, Joe Biggs, myself and many others were financially unpersoned, that is, when banks, services and platforms like Paypal, Patreon and Youtube decided we were guilty of wrongthink (as if it were their business what we think or say and as if they have a moral standing from which to look down upon us and judge)?
We are guilty of words. We are guilty of wrongthink.
Meanwhile, as Andy Ngo and others often point out, antifa cells and individuals use Twitter and services like GoFundMe to fund their street terrorism. Here’s GoFundMe being used to raise money in memorium of a domestic terrorist who allegedly shot someone and almost killed them. On January 22, 2023, Ngo tweeted…
Groups in any area where antifa riots exist to bail them out. In Atlanta, for example, there is Atlanta Jail Support to support the street terrorists. Arrested for terrorizing? Fill out the Atlanta Jail Support Form to get bailed out.
Of course, people are innocent unless they are proven guilty. Not everyone they bail out or support is a terrorist. Many are. Thus, they reward terrorism by shielding the guilty fom the consequences of their actions. In some cities it is as there’s a revolving door. Riot, get arrested, get bailed out and rejoin the riot.
Andy Ngo goes into some detail about this sort of thing in the section Lawfare (pages 59-60) in his book Unmasked - Inside Antifa’s Radical Plan to Destroy Democracy (2021). I quote extensively from Ngo in the entry lawfare in my Culture War Encyclopedia.
Here’s an example I almost overlooked because it seemed innocent at first (a IFAK is an Individual First Aid Kit). But read on and see that according to them, anything past $375 could be used for anything, including weaponry.
It was onJanuary 23, 2023, that the antifa cell Defend the Atlanta Forest (@defendATLforest) tweeted that tweet that purports to quote the dead antifa. If it is it’s/their words, it indicates a deeply disturbed person or whatever it/they identify as.
AntifaWatch tweeted this video filmed a few days earlier from within the antifa black bloc which is very daring given their tendency to attack those who film them.
Atlanta, GA (January 23, 2023) - There have been numerous inaccurate media and on-line reports about the officer involved shooting incident that occurred January 18th. We’re providing this update to address the widespread misinformation that is occurring.
• Today, the GBI received confirmation from a firearms transaction record that in September 2020, Manuel Esteban Paez Teran legally purchased the firearm that was used in the shooting of a GSP trooper.
• Bodycam questions – The Task Force consisted of several agencies. The officers who were near the incident at the time of shooting were not wearing body worn cameras. Although the shooting is not captured on bodycam, there is bodycam footage of the aftermath.
This continues to be an ongoing investigation.
This seems very suspicious. With all those agencies, with all of our tax money being spent on all that goes into all that paramilitary equipment, with the common knowledge that these things are very politically sensitive and be subject to widespread doubt, how or why would they not have recorded the incident with body cams? Why are we paying for this stuff when they don’t use them or say they disn’t use them in such situations? Are we supposed to believe that they are this incompetent? If they are this incompetent, how can we trust them to do anything right?
Backing up a bit, Steven Donziger (who describes himself as “Advocate, writer & public speaker on human rights and corporate accountability. Lawyer on team that won historic $9.5b judgment against @Chevron.”) tweeted…
See my future report about these privileged brat-terrorists for moron - I mean fo more on this person and he/she/it/their/zir/zim/xing/zang/boobagoobagang comrades.
On January 25, 2023, the Georgia Burea of Investigation added an update to their report that seems to imply that for the sake of impartiality the local District Attorney has recused herself from the case…
We are aware that DeKalb County District Attorney Sherry Boston has recused herself from the January 18, 2023 officer involved shooting (OIS) case involving Manuel Esteban Paez Teran and a Georgia State Patrol trooper. A special prosecutor will be assigned by the Prosecuting Attorneys’ Council to review our findings related to this case. In the past decade, the GBI has investigated numerous OIS cases for local and state law enforcement. Our track record of impartiality precedes this January 18 incident. The GBI and Georgia State Patrol are two separate agencies. As in every officer involved shooting investigation, our procedure is to gather information concerning OIS events and turn the investigative file over to the prosecutor in the jurisdiction the event occurred for their review and action.
Since the investigation began, we have been able to connect the handgun found at the scene by various means to Teran, who shot the trooper during the clearing operation.
We will continue to work with the Georgia Attorney General’s Office and the DeKalb County District Attorney’s Office in reference to the ongoing domestic terrorism investigation.
Then the Tyre Nichols incident caught wildfire attention. Outrage for this seemed to outshine outrage for Cami or Manuel or Tort or whatever you want to call he/she/it/them/zee/zim/zir/zig/zag/xenon/xonon and so on.
“This Thursday, March 9th at 6 pm ET, NGPAF activists and partners will be in Atlanta marching to #StopCopCity as part of the National Day of Action Against Police Terror.”
A Georgia-based voter registration nonprofit founded by Stacey Abrams and dogged by allegations of financial impropriety called for a “National Day of Action Against Police Terror” on Tuesday.
Further on,
On Tuesday, Abrams’ non-profit the New Georgia Project announced on Twitter, “This Thursday, March 9th at 6 pm ET, NGPAF activists and partners will be in Atlanta marching to #StopCopCity as part of the National Day of Action Against Police Terror.” The flyer featured the organization's logo alongside those of other radical activist groups.
The accompanying flyer stated, “Demand justice for Tyre Nichols and Tortuguita.”
Tyre Nichols was a 29-year-old black man who died after being allegedly beaten by five black Memphis Police Department officers, which was captured on bodycam.
…
According to Fox News, The New Georgia Project founded by former Democratic gubernatorial nominee Abrams received almost $500,000 in COVID-19 bailout money during a year its donations grew by tens of millions of dollars.
There were other financial discrepancies such as the group reporting that it paid $0 in payroll taxes, the Washington Examiner reported.
In August 2022 according to the Georgia Recorder, the state's ethics commission ruled that the nonprofit and its affiliated action fund likely bypassed financial disclosure laws by not reporting millions in election-related spending, including advocating for Abrams during her failed 2018 gubernatorial run.
Though the New Georgia Project's donors remain hidden, the Marguerite Casey Foundation, another Abrams-affiliated nonprofit, reported two grants totaling $100,000 as part of a multi-million voting rights funding effort in 2020.
Fox News also reported that Abrams joined the Marguerite Casey Foundation's board in 2021 and backed a campaign to increase anti-police funding from the foundation, whose president, Carmen Rojas, has repeatedly called for defunding and abolishing the police.
POSTSCRIPT
With millions of dollars at stake, people who get in the way of that big of a score might end up dead. We know we can’t trust the government or big corporations nor can we trust antifa or even trust law enforcement, necessarily. We don’t know what really happened, at least not yet. It is not likely that video footage of the deadly shooting will surface.
There aren’t just two sides to the story. There are people who oppose the project and who do not appreciate being terrorized by antifa, unless all the terrorism is part of a false flag operation. Is it likely that agents pretending to be antifa came out of the woods to attack that man and to almost kill him? It seems most likely that antifa just did what they do; harass and terrorize people, light stuff on fire and so on.
Again, this seems to be the 12th antifa killed in the USA.
Let us recall that antifa has killed Aaron “Jay” Danielson,7 Lee Keltner,8 the an unnamed teen in the CHAZ,9 and of course the Dayton shooter, Conner Betts (whose social media showed he was Antifa) reportedly wounded 17 people and killed 9 people.10
Firstly, there is Heather Heyer who was killed at the Unite the Right event in Charlottesville August 12, 2017, ironically by a different kind of national socialist than June Knightly, but a socialist nonetheless. (See this and this.)
Secondly, Charlie Landeros in Eugene, Oregon on January 11, 2019, wrestled with some police, pulled out a handgun, fired it off wildly and was shot and killed by those police. (See this, this and this.)
Thirdly, Willem van Spronsen allegedly tried to blow open a wall at an ICE detention center and was killed by police on July 13, 2019. (See this.)
Fourthly, Conner Betts, the Dayton Ohio mass shooter was killed by law enforcement. He was Antifa. (See here, here. Also this, this, this, this and this)
Fifthly, Sean Kelliher was killed, seemingly by an other Antifa. (See here, here, here, here, here.)
Sixth was Isaiah Jason Maza, Jr. who, apparently was killed on January 31, 2020 in Portland, Oregon (see my report 6th Antifa Killed - Killed Before He Could Kill (July 22, 2020).
My default position on CNN is to distrust them due to their lack of honesty, objectivity and accuracy. My default position on ALL sources is to maintain suspension of judgement while noting what they claim, looking for evidence to support claims and noting any lack of evidence for claims.
