The 'Social Justice' Movement is a Modern Demonstration of How the Nazis Succeeded
First they came for “hate speech”, and I did not speak out—because I was afraid of being accused of “hate speech”.
Then they came for the people they say are sexist, and I did not speak out—because I was afraid to be accused of being sexist.
Then they came for the people they say are racist, and I did not speak out—because I was afraid to be accused of being racist.
Then they came for the people they say are homophobic, and I did not speak out—because I was afraid to be accused of being homophobic.
Then they came for the people they say are transphobic, and I did not speak out—because I was afraid to be accused of um, enacting verbal violence upon the bodies of, um, marginalized transgender persons of color who have the right to be free of fear of danger upon their marginalized and excluded bodies.
Then they came for the people they say are bigots against M.A.P.s (pedophiles), and when good people objected and said that children are not mature enough to give informed consent for a sexual act or relationship,
they were answered, 'Society has already decided that children can give informed consent, that's why they can get body-altering surgery.
By what logic, then, can you say that they can not give informed consent?'
And you will have nothing to say.
And you may ask yourself, well, how did I get here?
And the answer is, you gave in to the mob.
Then there was no one left to speak for you.
The famous saying by Martin Niemöller, from which the above was adapted, cuts right to the heart of the detestable, contemptible, selfish, fearful, weakness at the heart of humanity. In Nazi Germany, the Nazis were able to come for the Gypsies, to come for homosexuals (or people they accused of being homosexual), to come for people they said were genetically inferior, to come for the Jews and so on and on and on because the public allowed it to happen.
This is the dragon we each must slay, this demon is in each of us. This is the evil we must face - every one of us.
We are all tribal. We all have the us-vs-them instinct. We all fear being shunned or ostracized by the tribe, the herd. Because of this fear, some of us allow injustice to spread.
Some of you go further and even applaud when the human rights of your enemies are violated. You proudly set yourselves up in opposition to freedom and equality because you're bad. You're bad people. If I now sound as if I am talking to a child it is because that is their level of ethical sophistication - a toddler's. Like a toddler, you can't be reasoned with because they're bad.
They say that all it takes for evil to win is for good people to do nothing. I say that is wrong. Those who do nothing about evil are not good people. When we fail to challenge lies as they are spread, evil wins. When we look the other way when the innocent are persecuted, evil wins. When we fail to stand up stand up when the innocent are purged, we thereby lay the courses, rough-hewn, wrought of weakness but set in stone and inescapable, leading lambs to slaughter by boxcar, guided all the way to the bitter end by the rainbow of colors of the shining lies of the mass media.
