Legalize Murder of 1-Month-Old Babies?
They Failed, But They'll Try Again
Perhaps if you had not pushed the abortion line from “safe, legal and rare”1 to “abortion on demand without apology”2 to partial birth abortions to killing 1 month old happy, healthy babies, this push-back would not have happened.
Maybe this is your fault and you deserve to lose because you’re a bad person.
One might object that no one is allowing anyone to kill 28-day-old babies! Yes, correct, but only because an effort to legally allow such murder did not make it all to being passed into law. It was attempted.
The California Democrat’s assembly Bill 2223, which is “supported by the Planned Parenthood Affiliates of California and the California Future of Abortion Council” according to Factcheck.org, would have made it legal either through direct action or neglect, to kill baby before, during or days after birth. This area of the bill has since been changed. An earlier version would have freed a person from civil and criminal liability or penalty leading to a miscarriage, stillbirth, abortion, or perinatal death due to action or inaction.3
Perinatal refers to the time period in the life of a fetus/baby beginning at “22 or, more commonly, 28 completed weeks of pregnancy” up to and including a “newborn child up to the age of 1 week” according to the International Encyclopedia of Public Health.
The legal definition perinatal death (given by, for example, Law Insider) extends the period up to 28 days after birth.
Sources meant more for non-medical or legal professionals such as Britannica and Merriam-Webster define the perinatal period far more generally as before, during and after birth.
There is a wide range from “safe, legal and rare” abortions to to save the life of the pregnant woman in increasingly rare cases to killing a 1 month old healthy baby, stripping it for parts and selling them for profit. The fact that it was pushed that far in a matter of years makes it seem that the line would simply be pushed further and further until one could murder a kid of the age of…well, who knows?
Unfortunately, there is no shortage of scumbags who vote and hold office. These lowly people must be stopped from causing more harm than they already have. Those who can’t or won’t stop themselves from legalizing the murder of children must be stopped by their superiors - decent human beings.
