Hats Off to Tulsi Gabbard's Criticism of Mayor Lightfoot's Racism
You may not know it from the content I put out (on Bitchute, for example) but I am a positive person. I'm happy-go-lucky. I love life. I also rejoice in the fray. I love the culture war. I sing as I swing the sword and thirst for the blood of my enemies. Because I thrive on the fight, my content reflects that fight. I could probably focus more on the positive, on victories. I may also give too little credit to people when they make the changes I want them to make. Hence this piece.
Chicago's mayor Lori Lightfoot, who lies about wearing a mask in public has apparently said that she will only grant interviews with “people of color”. According to USA Today, “Lightfoot’s choice was made public late Tuesday when longtime WMAQ-TV political reporter Mary Ann Ahern, who is white, tweeted about it”
Below is that tweet.
According to Business Insider Ahern asked “Does she think I'm racist? Is that what she's saying?” on WGN Radio.
The following day, Mayor Lightfoot more-or-less confirmed this in a tweet. She excused herself by saying that the local press is “overwhelmingly white” while the local population is less than half white. This would suggest that she believes in equity over equality. In other words, she would want equal outcomes instead of equal opportunities.
Whatever spin she may put on it, she says she will discriminate against people based on their skin color and because we live in an era wherein the mainstream left is openly racist in a particular direction an act of defiance against this racism from someone on the mainstream left is both rare and worthy of support. Former congresswoman and 2020 presidential candidate Tulsi Gabbard tweeted...
I expect the so-called “woke mob” to come for Tulsi for the offense they no doubt take from this. But let's give credit to those who support this.
This isn't the first time that Gabbard has made such a move against the far-left. According to the Washington Times;
“Ms. Gabbard made headlines in April after she posted a video saying the “racialization of everyone and everything” that’s being pushed by the “mainstream propaganda media and politicians” is dividing Americans and creating more hate.
“The mainstream propaganda media and politicians — they want us to constantly focus on our skin color and the skin color of others because it helps them politically or financially,” she said April 25. “Please, let us not allow ourselves to be led down the dark and divisive path of racialism and hate.””
They add;
“...at least one Hispanic reporter, the Chicago Tribune’s Gregory Pratt, protested the mayor’s decision by declining to interview her after he had already been granted approval.”
Writer Charlotte Clymer tweeted...
“There is no such thing as "anti-white racism". There are no systemic or widely-cultural barriers for white people that infringe on how we move through the world. This is silly as hell.”
Apparently individual acts of racism are not racist. Well, that's just the sort of predictable and deranged racism we have come to expect from guys who, for example, openly celebrate the idea of giving in to the 'woke mob' until straight white males can no longer speak.
Business Insider writes;
“The Triibe, a Chicago-based digital news outlet aimed at "reshaping the narrative of Black Chicago," according to its website, pushed back against the criticism directed at Lightfoot for prioritizing interviews with reporters of color.
"With this outrage, y'all are implying that Black and Brown journalists aren't capable of asking the hard questions," the media platform tweeted...”
Actually, having brought the idea to mind, they have us realize that because professional liars (politicians) naturally do not want to be asked hard questions, one could accuse Mayor Lightfoot of “implying that black and brown journalists aren't capable of asking the hard questions.”
So I guess Mayor Lightfoot is racist against black and brown people and against white people. Try to imagine history will remember this racist era.
∴ Liberty ∴ Strength ∴ Honor ∴ Justice ∴ Truth ∴ Love ∴

I list these sources alphabetically by the name of the media outlet with exceptions for journalists like Cassandra Fairbanks because they are real individuals with their own thoughts and views whereas with other sources it doesn’t seem to matter what person wrote it; it’s all predictable. In other words, with articles by CNN, Fox, NBC, the Washington Times, etc. it doesn’t actually make a difference what name they put on the article.
