They Changed the Definition of 'Vaccine'!?

"They" = the CDC & the Merriam-Webster Dictionary

The CDC changed their definition of vaccine from…

A product that stimulates a person’s immune system to produce immunity to a specific disease, protecting the person from that disease

…to…

a preparation that is used to stimulate the body’s immune response against diseases.

Merriam-Webster’s dictionary, who USA Today says…

has become the source of online misinformation about vaccines

…changed their definition of vaccine from this to this. In short, it used to say that a vaccine will “produce” immunity or “increase immunity” to infection/disease and now they say that it will “stimulate” an “immune response” to infection/disease. It’s as if it was decided that it can’t reasonably be claimed that these drugs may produce immunity and so it was replaced with “immune response.”

The fact that the FDA wants to keep information about these “vaccines” a secret for many decades is suspicious to say the least. Some might say that’s a guarantee of corruption. Bloomberg Law reports…

In its attempts to build public support for Covid-19 vaccinations, the FDA repeatedly promised “full transparency,” and reaffirmed its “commitment to transparency” when licensing Pfizer’s Covid-19 vaccine.

An “immune response” is far too vague to be a useful definition, far too loose, far too inclusive of far too many things. Eating an orange produces some level of immune response. Hell! BREATHING creates a degree of immune response.

Breathing, by the way, may be a better for you than these drugs they call vaccines. Breathing may not kill flu viruses, but at least it won’t kill you.

Basically, the folks at Merriam-Webster changed their definition of ‘vaccine’ from something that is effective to something that may not be effective at all. Furthermore, they are just mislabeling a treatment as a ‘vaccine’.

They had people taking these drugs again and again and again in the same year. It’s not the same as annual shots to go back to school. They had people taking these drugs again and again and again in the same year.

Look…

Language is a natural, virtually living thing. It is developed and sustained by the people who speak it. Languages evolve (or devolve) over time, naturally. Many people seem to not understand that dictionaries don’t decide what words mean, but rather, they describe how words are used by the speakers of the language in question. Dictionaries are supposed to tell you what words mean to the people who use those words.

When, over time, the speakers of a language change how they use a word, that is, when words take on new meanings to the people who speak them, dictionaries are supposed to revise their definitions. Dictionaries - if they are actually valid dictionaries - do not change the definitions of words because they and/or a small group of people presume to change the definitions to suit their agendas. It’s not their decision to make. That’s not how it works.

If, for example, most people use the word gender synonymously with sex, it is cheating, so to speak, to change the definition of gender to mean something new to serve the political activist goals of a small group of very loud, threatening, intolerant people who want to exert their power over the population.

At any rate, I am not saying that pharmaceutical companies conspired with the CDC and Merriam-Webster to change the definitions because I know of no evidence for that.

However, I would not be surprised. Nor would USA Today, it seems. Let’s face it, nor would you or anyone else be surprised.

In closing, we return to the original question asked in the title of this piece;

They Changed the Definition of 'Vaccine'!?

The answer is no.

They have no such authority. What they have changed is their already tarnished reputation by pretending to exert such authority, those pretenders. They presume to pass off what they think should be as what is.

It’s more fair to call them ‘experimental drugs’.
