Antifa Lies About Andy Ngo Again, Blames Him for the 10th Antifa Killed
On the night of February 19th, 2022, Antifa was on the march through a neighborhood in Portland, Oregon. A man, allegedly Benjamin J Smith, reportedly came outside of his apartment, confronted a smaller group of people whose function was to stop traffic to make way for the main march and, it seems, pulled out a gun and shot 5 of them, before someone with the march returned fire and injured him. It seems he killed one of he people he shot, Brandy Knightly.
Like others there, she was Antifa. This would make her the 10th Antifa killed as far as I am aware. My piece, “10th Antifa Killed” goes into this incident and the narratives surrounding it in depth but for one area; the blaming of Andy Ngo for the shooting and the disinformation about him in relation to the incident. This is the subject of this piece.
Some people implicitly or explicitly blamed Andy Ngo for the shooting, starting at least as early as 9:10pmPST that night, hardly an hour after the incident, with the following thread by @faen_tolv (archived here)…
This was retweeted by @Johnnthelefty who had something to add…
Is this true? Ngo’s tweets for that time frame have been archived. Let’s back up to 5 days before this tweet. Heck, let’s back up 6 days to be generous.
As you can see for yourself…
In the archives for February 15th, 2022 there is a number of tweets from Ngo but none referencing the JFPK (Justice for Patrick Kimmons) march scheduled for February 19, 2022. There’s nothing in the archives showing him sharing a flyer for the event. There’s nothing with the words “armed far-leftists who attack civilians”.
February 16th, 2022 - Same as above.
February 17th, 2022 - There’s no archive for this calendar date but the archives for the 18th go back to the 17th.
February 18th, 2022 - Ngo points out that the Dayton, Ohio shooter, Conner Betts, was followed Jared Holt, but tweeted nothing about the march, nor did he encourage violence.
February 19th, 2022 - Still nothing about an upcoming march in Portland that night.
Ngo did not describe “the folks who do security for JFPK events” as "armed far-leftists who attack civilians" at least 6 times within those 5 days. Not 5 times. Not 1 time. He did not describe them at all, apparently. He did not share a flyer for the march.
It seems @faen_tolv tweeted falsehoods about Ngo.
If we back up an extra day and look at Ngo’s tweets for February 14th, 2022, we see this at 3:31pm…
He referenced, “armed militants gathered for an event by Letha Winston, an extremist who organizes armed direct actions that have led to attacks on the public.” That’s close enough to “armed far-leftists who attack civilians”.
So then, was @faen_tolv saying that “the folks who do security for JFPK events” were the “armed militants” who engaged in “attacks on the public” according to Ngo?
Next in Ngo’s thread…
Were “the folks who do security for JFPK events” that @faen_tolv mentioned the “armed far-left militants” that Ngo mentioned or the “antifa-allied group that violently attacked civilians on May 6, 2021 in North Portland”?
As we’ll see, Ngo would later tweet that the group in that video is, “the group involved in the mass shooting” on February 19th. In other words, Ngo did not make the connection until after the shooting, not before the shooting as @faen_tolv claims.
Next in the thread is this…
Next…
Next…
The thread concludes with this…
That’s 6 tweets about “armed far-left militants” or “suspects” who attacked civilians. We can excuse the fact that this was 6 days prior as opposed to spread out over the 5 days prior and excuse the lack of that flyer.
Out of the principle of charity, we will say that Ngo tweeted about "armed far-leftists who attack civilians" and let’s pretend that he shared a flyer for the march before the march. OK. So, then, what exactly did Ngo do wrong? I must be missing something. Or perhaps I am being too rational to feel that Ngo did something wrong.
Let’s continue with @faen_tolv’s thread. Next…

As I proved in Who is the Man Who Shot 5 Antifas, Killing 1?, Smith was an extremist, but not right-wing. Also, I have yet to see valid evidence that he followed Andy Ngo. In fact, in the aforementioned piece, I show evidence to the contrary.
Alissa Azar would echo the lie about an hour later at 10:05amPST (archived here)…

I encourage the reader to see those tweets for themselves and see that these people are lying. There are no deleted tweets there from Ngo about that march until after the march. Though they physically attack him, there are no tweets from Ngo encouraging violence against them or anyone else. Quite the opposite. Ngo tweets about Antifa in attempt to stop them. That is discouraging, not encouraging violence and terrorism. Well, at least Chad Loder is nice enough to provide the means by which we can prove he is a liar. By the way, Andy Ngo claims this about Loder…
Not only are they liars, but they count on you being too gullible to fact-check and see that they are liars. As I wrote in Who is the Man Who Shot 5 Antifas, Killing 1?…
Antifa particularly hates Andy Ngo. They have physically attacked him multiple times, and some defend these attacks, but have never once been attacked or even struck by him.
@MrAndyNgo Sure, let's conspire to commits acts of violence and then try to blame ANTIFA for engaging in justified self-defense - why not: rawstory.com/2019/08/journa… ‘Journalist’ embraced by mainstream Republicans exposed as right-wing troll who hung out with far-right hate groupsThey lie about him, even mainstream sources lie about him, saying that he is a Nazi and that by tweeting mugshots of arrested rioters, he is tweeting hitlists for Nazis. In my other report on the shooting, we see that some Antifa claim that Ngo instigated the shooting.
For example, Kristopher Goad (@GoadGatsby) with over 27,000 followers, lied about Ngo and defended the unprovoked attack on him with this…
@BenBurgis Andy Ngo was embedded with Patriot Front when they attacked Cider Riot and fractured a woman's vertebrae and Ngo doxxed the victim in May 2019 but go on and say how it was wrong to punch Andy Ngo in June 2019.First of all, it was Patriot Prayer, not Patriot Front. These are 2 very different groups. Secondly, they did not attack the Antifas gathered at the establishment called Cider Riot. Joey Gibson, the founder of Patriot Prayer, walked up to these people unarmed and began to speak to them about an innocent black man they attacked some time before that (see my written report, “Proving Antifa LIES – What Actually Happened? Jan 17th – 19th Portland OR”, and my videos, “Proving Antifa Lies - What Actually Happened? Jan 17-19, 2019” and “Proving That Antifa Lies 2 - What ACTUALLY Happened? (Jan 19, 2019)”). Thirdly, this person is applauding unprovoked violence on a pacifist journalist.
@GoadGatsby @BenBurgis Kristopher, all your claims in the tweet are lies & you know it. There was a trial & NONE of these claims were supported by evidence. You lie about your ideological opponents—like the other violent extremists you support—to justify violence & assault. Here’s an other example…
Well, it looks like Andy Ngo successfully got himself beat up after a long day of being his usual self at the Portland Proud Boy / Antifa confrontation, and now we'll have to talk about this for the next few days. https://t.co/F5Trhy3McqAccording to Ngo, a senior reporter for the Huffington Post mocked him regarding the attack…
.@HuffPost senior reporter @SebastianMurdoc has deleted his tweet mocking me for opening up about challenges during recovery from a brain bleed due to an assault by antifa. He didn’t apologize & locked his account so people couldn’t inform him he was out of line. @daniellecbeltonThere’s more. You need not read my piece, Racist Leftists Think All Asians Look Alike, but you might appreciate the following a bit more if you do. In response to this…
.@thedailybeast tech & science contributor Thor Benson claimed he confronted me at a New Orleans bar & made me so uncomfortable that I left. It never happened—he racially profiled & harassed another Asian man. #StopAsianHate cc: @TracyConnor…the famous Keith Obermann tweeted this joking meme (not a real screenshot) and added his own mockery to it…
Was he carrying the kind of weaponized lethal sex toy that seem to follow you around?.@thedailybeast tech & science contributor Thor Benson claimed he confronted me at a New Orleans bar & made me so uncomfortable that I left. It never happened—he racially profiled & harassed another Asian man. #StopAsianHate cc: @TracyConnor https://t.co/FYqrRGDMl0Andy Ngô 🏳️🌈 @MrAndyNgo…to which Ngo replied…
@KeithOlbermann That’s a fake tweet that was made by a far-left account to fool gullible people like you.Peter Boghossian added…
@MrAndyNgo @KeithOlbermann Keith, this is when you demonstrate integrity and tweet, “I was wrong. I made a mistake.”Sebastian Murdock, with over 11,000 followers responded to Ngo with this which has since been removed (but which is archived here)…
Ngo responded…
Yes, this tweet is real. I had motor skill difficulties after suffering a traumatic brain injury from the antifa assault in 2019 where they punched me repeatedly on the head & face. Do you think it’s funny when gay people of color suffer injuries from white extremists? https://t.co/yh92vOzkMd…and…
Joseph Bernstein of Buzzfeed was witness to the antifa beating in ‘19 & went w/me in the ambulance to the hospital. Far-left started a disinfo campaign to say I faked injuries. I turned over my hospital diagnosis to Buzzfeed & they confirmed I was truthful.Ngo responded to both Obermann and Murdoc with this…
@SebastianMurdoc @KeithOlbermann Real. I was in treatment for occupational therapy (& other therapies) after antifa beat me in 2019 on the head, resulting in a brain hemorrhage. I had difficultly with fine motor skills. I deleted the tweet because antifa & their supporters like you celebrated in response.…to which this person with 53,000 followers, whoever they are, added…
@MrAndyNgo @SebastianMurdoc @KeithOlbermann In treatment for a lot of things most likely. Like habitual lies & fantastical stories of your harrowing experiences as a right wing provocateurIf one looks through the responses, one sees uncountable responses that mock Ngo and/or say he was asking for it.

This person then tweeted the following serious claim without any evidence (archived here)…
…then has the nerve to tweet this (archived here)…
Eventually, @chadloder would come up with this ‘nothingburger’.
Here is the full image from the tweet above…
Sure, Ngo tweeted this, but so what? What exactly did Ngo do wrong? It would not have been in the least bit surprising if they had shot him first. Maybe they did. Probably not, but at this point we just do not know what happened. but we know Antifa lies and we know they have killed people. So, go fuck yourself, Loder.
Note that Ngo was commenting on something that @alex_see tweeted. Alex, who writes for the Portland Mercury, is considered to be partisan for their side. So the most ‘incriminating’ thing they can invent is that Ngo retweeted and commented on something Alex herself tweeted.
While spreading this disinfo, Loder tweets this (archived here)…
Because of his large following, it is noteworthy that Tariq Nasheed tweeted the following (archive)…

Among the responses to this tweet by Ngo, there are dozens and dozens of examples of people propagating the lie that the incident was Ngo’s fault in some way or an other. That’s just the responses to this one tweet. There are many more.
Here’s an example of someone claiming that Ben Smith is a follower of Andy Ngo.
The image is allegedly a screenshot from what is allegedly Smith’s Youtube account.
I can find nothing to confirm this. Screenshots can easily be forged. In fact, in my piece, Who is the Man Who Shot 5 Antifas, Killing 1? I provide links to Ben Smith’s Youtube which was archived before it was deleted and as one can see, Andy Ngo is not one of the people in Ben Smith’s subscriptions.
Thus, @johnnthelefty is propagating a falsehood. This was also propagated by others. For example, blue check-marked Michael Edison Hayden, “Senior Investigative Reporter and Spokesperson” for the SPLC, with 32,000 followers on Twitter, tweeted…
If you don’t know, Antifa particularly hates Andy Ngo. They have physically attacked him multiple times but have never once been attacked or even struck by him. They lie about him often, saying that he is a Nazi and that by tweeting mugshots of arrested rioters, he is tweeting hitlists for Nazis.
On March 3rd, one of the wounded/witnesses, Dajah Beck, tweeted these…
@faen_tolv would continue to tweet falsehoods about Ngo and the incident…
We saw this earlier…

Of course, this is just a window in time of just some of their disinfo about Ngo. There’s always more.
